Fantastic Friday

ART
We had to draw one big fish onto foam today which will go up on our
backdrop wall.  Mrs Lloyd told us we had to put in a lot of detail like
patterns of scales of different sizes. Mrs Lloyd took small groups to do a
printing block. This is called a Relief Print - lots of little pieces of foam stuck
onto cardboard with special art glue.  We will be rolling paint onto the printing block
which will then create a pattern.

CHRISTMAS SINGING PRACTICE

 LIBRARY
Mrs Kent talked to us about how we must
STOP
LOOK
LISTEN
when we cross the road and always hold a grown ups hand.
Mrs Kent then read us a story about how a grown up kept
getting distracted and was forgetting to look and listen.  It is important for
grown ups to pay attention as well when cross the road!

 PRE-LIT
Ms Jeong is away sick so Ms Newman taught us
our Pre-lit today. We looked at stretching out the words like
ch i ck
ch i p
h a t
p i n
We did this with our hands and then we pretended to be robots.
That was tricky but we managed it in the end.
